Terms of service
Last updated September 18, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Domfly LLC (“StatementBatch”, “we”) for your use of statementbatch.com (the “service”). By using the service you agree to them. If you use it for a business or a client, you agree on behalf of that business.
What the service does
StatementBatch reads PDF bank and credit card statements with automated AI and returns the transactions as spreadsheet and accounting files. It also checks whether the extracted amounts add up to the balances printed on the statement, and tells you when it can’t.
Check the results before you rely on them
Automated extraction can make mistakes: a misread amount, a missed or duplicated row, a wrong date or year. A “balances verified” result lowers that risk but does not remove it, and some statements cannot be verified at all. You are responsible for reviewing the output before using it for bookkeeping, tax, lending, audits or any other decision. StatementBatch is not accounting, tax or financial advice.
Your responsibilities
- Only upload statements you own or are authorised to process, such as a client’s with their permission.
- Don’t use the service unlawfully, or to process documents you obtained without permission.
- Don’t try to get around usage limits, overload the service, scrape it, or reverse-engineer it.
Free use
The free plan allows a limited number of statements and pages per day, as shown on the home page. We may change or end the free plan at any time.
Statement pack (one-off)
The statement pack costs $9 and gives you 50 pages, valid 30 days. It is a single, one-time purchase — it does not renew or auto-charge you again, and there is no subscription to cancel. Unused pages expire 30 days after purchase and are not carried over, refunded or extended. You can buy another pack at any time, including before the previous one expires.
Subscription plans (Solo, Firm, Volume), renewal and cancellation
We offer three subscription tiers, billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe:
- Solo: $29/month, 150 pages/month. A solo bookkeeper, or a business doing its own books.
- Firm: $119/month, 750 pages/month. A practice with a heavy month, or back-year cleanups.
- Volume: $299/month, 2,500 pages/month. High volume: lending, audit, or a practice at scale.
Each plan renews automatically every month and you will be charged on each renewal date until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page, in as few steps as it took to subscribe; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access (and your page allowance) until then. Payments are not refunded for partial months unless the law requires it. If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it does.
Your data
Your statements and the files made from them are yours. How we handle them is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Our service
The service, its software and its design belong to us. These terms give you permission to use the service as described, and nothing more.
No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that every statement can be read.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, StatementBatch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, tax penalties or business interruption, arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If a third party makes a claim against us because you uploaded a document you weren’t authorised to process or otherwise broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the service. Sections about data, warranties, liability and indemnity continue after that.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above, and for changes that matter to paying customers we’ll email them first. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located there, except that either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court.
