The account is closed. The statements still have to be filed.

Closing an account usually ends your access to its online banking, and with it any ability to export. What tends to survive is a folder of PDF statements downloaded before the account was shut, or posted out afterwards.

Those PDFs are enough. Upload them and the transactions come back as data.

A switched bank is the same problem

Moving business banking is the most common version of this: the new bank has a clean feed from the day you joined, and the year before it sits in the old bank's PDFs with no export path at all.

Several statements at once

A closed account is rarely one statement — it is a run of months. Drop the whole set together and they convert as a batch, with the option to download one combined spreadsheet or a workbook with a sheet per statement.

Verified, not just transcribed

Every conversion is reconciled before you see it: the running balance is checked row by row, or — when the statement never prints one — the opening balance plus every transaction is checked against the closing balance. If the statement gives us nothing to check against, we say so instead of showing a green tick.

Questions

Can I convert a whole year at once?

Yes — drop the files together and they run as a batch, and you can export them as one combined file.

What if some statements are missing?

Each statement is converted and checked on its own, so a gap in the run does not stop the rest. The balance check tells you whether each individual statement reconciles.
